Hey there,
I’m Sarah Rose, the woman behind BPD Beautiful and author of Sadie’s Favorite – a novel that touches on BPD recovery & abusive “favorite person” relationships. I’m a mom & wife, a follower of Jesus and a survivor of narcissistic abuse.
Throughout my teens and twenties, I was diagnosed with bulimia, depression, anxiety, CPTSD and BPD. In 2019, BPD Beautiful’s first blog post was published. In 2021, after more than a decade in treatment, I finally entered remission.
Now I use the BPD Beautiful platform in hopes to inspire others.
Billing / Cancellation Policy
Billing runs from the 10th of each month through the 9th of the following month. Invoices will be sent to your email on a monthly basis. Prompt payments are greatly appreciated.
You may cancel your membership at any time. Because each support group has limited enrollment, we ask that you commit, to the best of your ability, to attend at least 80% of your group’s scheduled meetings before booking. Absences do not receive refunds, credits, or make-up sessions.
If you permanently leave a group after it has started, your final charge will be prorated so that your total payment equals $10 per meeting attended. For example, if you cancel in the middle of February after attending 16 meetings, your last charge will be adjusted so that your total payment equals $160. In some cases, this may result in a refund if you have already been charged more than the prorated amount.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your group reservation, please email us at hello@bpdbeautiful.com. Whenever possible, we will try to offer you a different group time if one is available.
If BPD Beautiful cancels a group before it begins, participants will not be billed and may transfer to another group time if one is available.
BPD Beautiful reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or discontinue a group whenever necessary.
Frequently Asked Q’s
BPD Support Groups by BPD Beautiful are structured peer-to-peer educational support groups, not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. Each group follows a structured 36-session curriculum focused on a specific topic. Members explore and discuss widely available self-help resources, publicly available educational materials, and commonly known evidence-based coping concepts through guided peer discussions, shared lived experiences, and optional independent practice.
The purpose of these groups is to build community, encourage accountability, and help members apply self-help concepts in everyday life. No psychotherapy, diagnosis, individualized treatment, or clinical mental health services are provided. These groups are not a substitute for working with a licensed mental health professional, and members are encouraged to seek professional care if they need therapy or crisis support.
Participation in BPD Beautiful Support Groups does not create a therapist-patient, psychologist-patient, counselor-client, coach-client, or healthcare-provider relationship.
These groups are intended for adults (18+) who identify with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) or have BPD traits. Members may join from anywhere in the world.
Because these are peer support groups—not therapy—we strongly recommend that participants currently work with, or have previously worked with, a licensed mental health professional. This helps ensure the group complements, rather than interferes with, an individual’s treatment plan.
Members should commit to attend at least 80% of scheduled sessions and commit to contribute to a respectful, compassionate, and accountable group environment.
Participation in BPD Beautiful Support Groups does not create a therapist-patient, psychologist-patient, counselor-client, coach-client, or healthcare-provider relationship.
Unlike many traditional support groups, our groups follow a structured educational format that combines peer-to-peer learning, guided discussion, accountability, optional weekly exercises, and a private member chat. Rather than focusing solely on sharing experiences, members explore evidence-based self-help concepts and discuss practical ways to apply them in everyday life.
Our goal is to provide consistency, community, and skill-building in a supportive peer environment. These groups are educational and peer-led, not psychotherapy or clinical treatment.
